Where have we worked?

Southern Research has deep roots in the south, with expertise in seven states surrounding our headquarters in Columbus, Georgia.

We have worked in urban areas like Savannah, Jacksonville, and Chattanooga, in the mountains of western North Carolina, and along the Gulf of Mexico in Florida. We have worked on public lands (military installations, national forests, and state parks) and remote locations like the north end of Cumberland Island, Georgia. Our staff knows the territory—we grew up in the south and received our training here—and our knowledge of and sensitivity to the region gives added focus to the work we do.
